At F.B. & B. our goal is to make importing and exporting of gear machinery, as easy as possible for both the purchaser and the seller.
We are experienced in every facet of shipping; national and international regulations, customs and transporting.
F.B. & B. is prepared to coordinate every step of your delivery.
REBUILD
Our New England facility is where we re-manufacture all of the Fellows Machines. They are retrofitted with the FANUC Controller and a large inventory of spare parts.
Overview of Rebuilding:
Ways reground, cutter spindle plated and reground to original specification, work table reground, work slide ways reground and hand scraped with table for perfect fit. Both upper and lower worm and worm gear are inspected and set with optimal back lash. All worn and/or broken parts are replaced, machine is cleaned, checked, cycled, and painted. Ready for your run off. Retrofitted with FANUC (latest CNC controller) which includes custom software menu driven. Information can be taken directly off the print data to produce the part required
The FELLOWS gear shapers will be capable of performing within the original manufactures precision parameters when the machine was delivered new.
Options Include (10 series):
3" 6" or 9" additional risers
Variator Infinitely variable stroking speeds.
Additional Options for (20 series):
In Detroit, we rebuild/ retrofit the Klingelnberg hob sharpeners with a PLC controller.
In Germany,
We rebuild retrofit Hofler and Klingelnberg gear testers with state of the art computerized gear analyzation as well completely go through Hofler, Kapp, Gleason gear grinders prior to being shipped.
